Game Review & Impressions
---------------------------------------------------
Another of the very first games I ever played, Timeslip is a really smart little shooter for the C16 and Plus/4 range of Commodore computers.

The main play area is divided into three zones, each containing a number of time orbs to be destroyed. Players must navigate the terrain, taking care to avoid obstacles, enemy projectiles and other hazards long enough for the zone timer to reach zero.

Instead of using a lives-based system, death results in 45 minutes being shaved from the mission timer, displayed at the top of the screen. Die too many times, and the timer will eventually reach zero, resulting in game over.

Although a relatively simple game, Timeslip looks great, and the UI and general presentation is commendable. You'll need patience and practice to get the most out of the game, but it's with the perseverance.
