Longer shots are things that are praised normally in film because they require more effort, planning and generally are harder to produce than smaller shots, you`ll notice a lot of shot switching in scenes where a character talks mid-fight, or something similar, this helps not only show the characters, but in terms of a fight means there's less planning to do.

Thing is, a fight is like a dance, it needs to be well planned if you want it to be good, and these sort of shots, even if they are hard to pull off tend to look great if they are done well, so its why I want to try and include a few, especially as I did the traditional style with the OVA I produced in 2012.
