I'm not a Loner. My name is not Kruglov. My task is to infiltrate any Factions that I choose, in order to investigate and seize any of the new prototype weapons and ammunition, that have illegally entered the Zone. I have left the Mercenary Faction to join the Loner Faction. I am the Stalker.

Encrypted Diary: I took the two Dutyers and two Ecologists, that I had brought back from the Recycling Plant. with me up to the Ranger Station. All I knew is there were some reports of Mercs being up there. We took the main road going up the hill, they blasted some Flesh and when we got to the gate, I saw headlamps within, and I shot two Mercenaries. near one of the Mercs was a large, black Chimera, the most dangerous kind. Next to the other dead Merc was a large dead Bloodsucker.

The Dutyers and Ecogs followed me though the buildings and I went up on the second floor of the main building and placed a stash of weapon and armor repair, a medkit, a bandage and food. When we returned to the ground and were walking south towards the bridge, I heard the sound of Bloodsuckers, so I climbed a nearby ladder to get a clear view to help my Companions. This is when things got crazy. With the Bloodsuckers running around, the two Dutyers fell and then the two Ecologists went inside the building. when I heard a Chimera attack.

I could not see the action anymore, so I got down from my roost and realized there was just one Ecologist left. I helped him and I killed the Chimera just outside the walled compound. I found the other Ecologist, most likely killed by the Chimera. I already knew the Ranger Station was a very dangerous place, but I didn't expect to lose three men so quickly and to be jumped by so many dangerous mutants. This is why it is very risky to travel at night. I gathered up all the loot from the dead, skinned some animal parts and the two of us returned to the Skadovsk. I was very sad to lose those three menm that I had just met but felt responsible for.
