Tips and tricks to most efficiently find, approve, and reply to YouTube comments
This video represents the most efficient method I found to find, approve, and reply to YouTube comments, especially when a large number of comments await approval. Note that Held For Review comments in youtube.com/comments generally take time to appear under the Published Comments tab once approved. At times the approved comment will not appear until hours later, and at times your own response will not publish (the text entry field will fade out to grey, an icon will spin, then only to revert to the text entry box, still containing your typed text). In these situations, it is best to wait an hour or so before resuming your work on youtube.com/comments. Keeping notes on the number of comments you've approved from which video on which video page - this will help you keep track of which approved comments remain to be replied to as you wait the intermittent delay for approved comments to appear as published. It is recommended that before approving and replying to comments on a given video page, that you first change the default comment sorting on each video page to 'Newest First' to ensure that snarky troll joke comments do not remain on-top. Furthermore, on each video page, below the video window and Description field, you can click on the blue banner reading '* There are comments awaiting approval. Review' in order to limit youtube.com/comments to comments of the specific video page in question, which makes keeping track of, approving, publishing, and replying to comments much easier and quicker. Sadly, all of this was much easier before the Google+ integration : \
