ティルキッス ～Princess Shade～ is a doujin game that can only be described as a Legend of Zelda Bullet Hell with RPG elements.
Every sword in the game has a unique shottype that you can use to shoot enemies.
Excellence mode is unlocked after beating Normal mode and changes include enemies on the overworld not dropping any experience or money at all, upgraded enemy types and harder bullet patterns.
Dungeons are based on a scoring system that determines how much experience you get for each screen. So on hard mode you basically have to beast these in order to level up at all. You get a x2 multiplier for no-missing, not using magic and not saving.
Just thought I'd make a quick video of this as it's a really good game although it's sadly extremely obscure.
