The final part of my no-death playthrough of TMNT2.

This video includes only a bit of the technodrome stage and then the three final bosses, which you have to fight in a row.

General Traag, pissed off at Raphael for killing his war buddy, kicks the door flying away as he steps out to fight. Like Granitor, he moves slowly, has an arm swing attack and a firing weapon (this time a rocket launcher of some sort). Once again I use the jump kicking method instead of going up and down the area with regular attacks, because it's more fun and challenging this way. With Traag I always aim my kicks at his toes, because if he happens to shoot a rocket as you're kicking him, the rocket will explode as the jump kick hits it and the player takes no damage. I'd say that he's a bit easier than Granitor. The player's health is replenished after this fight.

Then, the most legendary boss in this game, Krang, the warlord from Dimension X. And by legendary I mean that this is where most people get their asses handed to them, and everyone always remembers that when this game is mentioned. Anyway, Krang has an eye-laser attack with varying distance, a fast-shooting rocket hand and the worst one of them all, The Kick. Most people who don't wanna lose lives in this game use the up-and-down-the-area technique against Krang, but here I demonstrate a much less tedious way. Jump kicking Krang at random is a very bad idea since his kick punishers will get to you a lot. However, I discovered a way to avoid the kick completely. The thing I do here is that I wait for him to do his laser attack before jump kicking, because after his laser attack he never seems to counterattack with his kick, and this even leaves time for an added A+B swing attack! Just keep waiting for his laser attack with patience, positioning yourself and Krang accordingly, before launching the jump kick + ground attack combo. Don't take any guesses - there's plenty of time to react. This method makes Krang a very fun battle, and it's easy to not lose a life :)

For a deathless play it's good to have at least 3-4 health blocks left for the final battle with The Shredder. Some people prefer to reveal the clone and then focus on the real one, and some prefer to keep attacking them both all the time so that there's no need to be so accurate. I usually leave the clone alone since it's pretty easy to jump kick the real Shredder even when the clone is near. If you're afraid of the one-hit-kill anti-mutation move, don't let a Shredder with a helmet get too far away from you.

And that's it, the deathless playthrough is complete without much hardship. I wouldn't have lost a life even if I hadn't picked up the pizzas, so all in all I'd say this is definitely the easiest Turtles game on the NES (and the best one). If anyone from Europe is willing to play this online with me (Nestopia + kaillera), PLEASE contact me. I love this game but it's such a rare treat to get to play it in 2p.
