Well done on your last mission Ghosts, your success has given us clues to the events that lead to the disappearance of fight UA7928. We still haven't reached the big picture yet, but what we've uncovered so far is... frightening to say the least.
While trying desperately to get in contact with UA7928 a few minutes before it disappeared, Auroa's ATC initially had established comms with the plane, but those on duty only heard "mumbling" and static" before comms went completely dark the moment the aircraft went off radar. Calls made to UA7928'S cockpit thereafter were unanswered but acknowledged by the aircraft's Satellite Data Unit, or SDU. This potentially could mean that the pilots were trying to establish contact from their ends, but for some reason weren't succeeding.
Data uncovered at the sights you assaulted shows that there was another 'external' signal that the aircraft was receiving at the time of the crash. There is no specifics as to what it was exactly, but our tech team is convinced that it was a complex digital signal much like those used by computer networks to transmit powerful data frequencies. Basically, we could be looking at our very first airplane hack directly at its systems. Much of this signal's data is scrambled, probably for security reasons, but our tech department was able to extract an IP address which corresponds to a server based in Fen Bog Port.
Whatever the case, we need to gather more data to uncover the truth of this disaster, and the only person who can help us right now is the lead engineer at that port. We're sending you details of him right now to you, but what's important is that he is a Sentinel sympathiser and outspoken critic of the Outcasts, so snatching him shouldn't be a moral complex. It's important to mention, however, is that we need him ALIVE, because he's the only lead right now that could uncover the truth about UA7928's unprecedented disappearance.
