Following the mission within Darah Dan Doa's camp, Sam continues to trace the signal of Sadono's communications in order to discover who controls the detonation of smallpox bombs strewn around the United States and track down their locations within the country. This mission brings him to a supposedly abandoned shipyard in eastern Indonesia which was taken over by DDD militants with its undeground facilities, including an submarine bay, being repurposed into the organization's base housing its main communication relay. Intent on finally uncovering the locations of Sadono's viral bombs, Sam infiltrates the shipyard and makes his way into the submarine bay before entering the submarine itself and discovering that the relay is connected to five cellphone numbers, confirming that there are five viral bombs within the United States and uncovering their approximate locations.

With his insurance policy completely uncovered and on the way to be dismantled, Third Echelon updates Sam's mission to directly confronting and neutralizing Sadono himself, but directs him to capture him alive due to the negative repercussions of his assassination of Georgian president Kombayn Nikoladze two years prior...
