3With all but one of Darah Dan Doa's viral bombs within the United States tracked down and destroyed, Third Echelon proceeds with the mission to capture Sadono himself before he can go into hiding or activate the final viral bomb which still remains unaccounted for, to that end sending Sam to Jakarta, Indonesia in order to infiltrate the headquarters and broadcasting center of Radio Free Indonesia, an broadcasting corporation used by Sadono and his militants as an hideout and broadcast center allowing them to send out their own propaganda, and capture Sadono as he prepares for another broadcast in order to confirm his survival following the destruction of DDD's training camp in Kundang. As he infiltrates the heavily guarded and fortified broadcast station, Sam is informed that Ingrid Karlthson, CIA analyst which he encountered in East Timor, is also present in the building as Sadono's prisoner. However, he also discovers that she only poses as an harmless analyst and was actually a fully trained agent placed in the embassy by CIA in order to keep an eye on Sadono once he'd capture her. Once within the station itself, Sam makes contact with Karlthson with two proceeding to make their way into the station's main studio. Despite Norman Soth, who apparently went into hiding soon after Springfield outbreak started, revealing the truth about Karlthson's identity to Sadono, forcing Sam to protect her as they make their way towards the studio, they are able to reach their destination with Sam heading into the studio itself in order to capture Sadono while Karlthson heads to the building's helipad in order to prepare an extraction helicopter. Once within the studio, Sam hides as Sadono starts his broadcast before sneaking up on him and capturing him. With the paramilitary commander at his mercy, Sam proceeds to interrogate him for the location of the final viral bomb, although he fails to get any useful information. Afterwards, Sam takes Sadono to the rooftop in order to hand him over to Karlthson.
Soon following Sadono's capture, Third Echelon discovers that Norman Soth has acquired the final viral bomb and took it to the United States, intending to detonate it within Los Angeles International Airport despite Sadono and his organization being eliminated. Aware that should Soth detonate the viral bomb, LAX will become the ground zero of an uncontainable smallpox outbreak, Sam heads to the airport in order to find Soth and eliminate him before he can fullfill his plan...
