"Tomb Raider 1 Walkthrough" Part 17 (Level 7 Palace Midas-Part 3 of 4) (Read Description)
0Welcome to the next part, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls for more of "Tomb Raider 1" walkthrough, more of the "Palace Midas" levels. In this part is where I find the last two gold bars, at the end of this video is the "Midas room to go and turn the bars of lead into gold". More returns path and more enemies to encounter. It's a lot of backtracking, more danger and surprises along the way. The spike and pillar (where I get the last lead bar) in this part is the hardest puzzle room, to get the lead bar, some of you may not find it to be trouble but to me, it is, that's why I saved it for last. Anyways, enjoy this next part. The next part is the 4th and final part of this level.

0:01 Running up the ramps to the very top
0:35 Pick up large health pack (be careful of breakaway tiles, it takes you back to the first secret-if you watch the previous part) (sliding down slope as well too)
1:03 Shoot lion (another return path down below-it's the starting point where you start from) (also running along platform you're on to next opening)
1:35 Run down next hallway, run and jump across to next platform (down below is where you shot the gorillas)
1:53 Shoot crocodile in pool (you can leave the crocodile if you're having trouble shooting him).
2:35 Run and jump onto the roof of building, shoot bats and pick up Lead Bar (Lead Bar #2)
2:55 Shooting the two lions (you can shoot at them from roof building above, sometimes it's hard to shoot them, if they leave the room you're in, you'll have to drop down to get them and for them to come back).
3:27 Run back to the room with five switches (backtrack)
4:04 Door #3 Spike and pillar room (Three switches down, two switches up)
5:08 Walk carefully around spikes as enter the room
5:36 Pull and move movable block and to pull switches to raise pillars in the air around the spikes
6:24 Running up the ramp to the top (be careful you get to the end of the ramp)
6:31 Save your game, carefully, run and jump across the platforms to the other side to opening to Lead Bar (be careful of spikes down below)
7:24 Shoot Gorilla, pick up Lead Bar #3 (Lead Bars 3 of 3)
8:02 Exit out of the room (after picking up Lead Bar) also save your game (if you don't want to die in next part, that way you won't have to reload your game at the last save point).
8:40 Running to the Garden room
9:09 Shoot Gorillas in Garden room
9:25 Pick up large health pack on ledge above
9:51 Midas room (End of this video) (In Midas room, don't stand on the hand you'll turn to gold, don't try it-go in front of the hand, stand next to it and turn the bars of lead into gold, just that simple).
