"Tomb Raider 1 Walkthrough" Part 19 (Level 8 The Cistern-Part 1 of 3) (Read Description)
0Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls to Level 8 of the 25th anniversary of the first "Tomb Raider" game, here is "The Cistern", in this level, watch out for more gorillas, crocodiles, rats (the same enemies in the previous level), the lions, Pierre appears in this level too, in this level, you basically have to fill "The Cistern" room with water, turning the place into a big swimming pool, also to find keys to open doors to access locations, including the ending portion of this level. There are 5 keys to find in this levels (Two silver and two rusty keys and one Gold key). There is a lot to explore in this level.

0:01 Level start (drop down below to shoot rat, push and move the movable block in the next location room
0:31 Pull switch to open door, plus trap doors, shoot the rats and pick up the large health pack
1:03 Drop down through traps doors, entering the Cistern (also to explain what there is to see in Cistern room)

4:21 Shoot Rat on platform (after you pick up Rusty Key, if you want to shoot rat up above, you can do it that way too if you want to).
4:41 Use Rusty Key to open door (on left) (also to explain the reason why to go to door on left first with water level low, other door on right is to go into with water level high).
5:32 Shoot Two Gorillas (in room you're in)
5:46 Climb up platform (Shoot Pierre-until he leaves)
6:27 Run and jump, grab ledges that you see in room you're in (also picking up large health pack) (also Magnum clips, but getting it off camera and me explaining my reason why i'm doing it that way)
7:20 Run and jump, shimmy along ledge on the right side
8:16 Slide down slopes to the very bottom (Shoot three crocodiles, one rat, pick up large health pack)
9:11 Climb up ledges, run and jump, shimmy along ledge to the door in room you're in
10:08 Pull switch to open door (End of this video)
