Tomtar was one of those rare oddities that you get every now and again. It was released in 1993 by UTEN as a public domain game that came free on one of the ST magazines.

It certainly has an interesting concept with the Grim Reaper having to reduce the numbers of a gnome like population called the Tomtar using his trusty machine gun. It essentially works like a horde mode where the objective is to survive the onslaught and take out their leader who ressembles a large orc. It's not the largest game in the world and get repetitive rather quickly but was worth a mention for the concept alone.
