9Based off of the hit arcade game, Golden Axe was ported to the home computer in 1990 by Virgin Games and Probe Software.
This is one of my favourite games for the ST as I do love my scrolling fighting games - they really don't make them like they used to. Despite a slight dip in the graphical quality from the arcade original and loading during stages, it retains all of the excellent gameplay, characters and fire breathing dragons that made the title such a classic.
