As some of you probably know, I really got started in board/hobby gaming with tabletop/pen and paper RPGs. I immediately fell in love with the concepts. I still generally prefer the feel, atmosphere, and progression afforded to tabletop gamers, and LOVE to see similar mechanics in board games.
Today, I'm talking about my favorite board games that come from (or ar at least heavily related to) major tabletop RPG franchises. I've talked about a few of them in the past, but I'm excited to share my favorites, particularly in the context of how the board game versions capture the original spirit.
