Top 5 Social Board Games
So, we can't do anything really social... or at least very few of them. Quarantine is terrible. That said, we've seen a LOT of great games showing social deduction and fun in the last few months come up in popularity, so let's do the discussion for the board games!
"Social" games can mean a lot of things... frankly, any game can, and should, be social at least to an extent - that's the whole point of sitting around a table playing something together, after all. That said, though, I LOVE social deduction games. Logical thinking, bluffing, treachery, all that good stuff makes for a relatively lighter experience than most hobby games and a lot of them can even be played online, with some finagling. With that, I wanted to share my personal top 5 favorites that fit the category - primarily deduction with a LOT of table talk.
As always, I need to know about YOU all, though! What're your favorite social games, and why? More so, what do you consider to be a social game in general? Let me know in the comments!
