Beast From Beyond is the fourth and final DLC map for Infinite Warfare Zombies. Here’s five things it did right.
#5: N31l from Zombies in Spaceland returns in this map. His presence was loved in Spaceland, and it’s nice to see him return here.
#4: Beast From Beyond has a variety of visually interesting locations. The theater, the inside of the facility, and the outside of the facility all provide visually different areas to survive in. It adds some variety to the map without changing the gameplay.
#3: Bringing Extinction into the IW Zombies cannon was a clever way to integrate old content into a new game. This helps make that gamemode more relevant than it otherwise would be.
#2: Populating the rounds with Cryptids before power is activated was a terrible decision for casuals, but it does ramp up the difficulty for hardcore fans. It certainly made the early rounds more interesting.
#1: As a bonus, the developers were smart enough to upgrade the starting weapon from a pistol to an assault rifle for the early rounds. It drastically changes the early and late game, but if that change wasn’t made to fix the map’s biggest flaw, the map would be literally impossible to play.
