Carrier is the penultimate Exo-Zombies map. Here’s five things it did right.

#5: The trap in the Cargo area has a creative design and is very effective at killing Zombies. I laughed the first time I saw it, and still appreciate its usefulness today.

#4: The Plinko Board is the most well-known feature of the map. It expanded the grenade disposal system on Mob of the Dead by turning it into a small spectacle with some elements of skill added in.

#3: The map opens with a cutscene of one of our main characters dying and being replaced by another person. This was the first time a crew member had been killed and replaced in a Zombies game, which made the rest of the characters feel unsafe in a way Treyarch titles never accomplished.

#2: The Limbo is a cool wonder weapon. Its premise is extremely unique and it’s also an effective weapon on top of that.

#1: Carrier accommodates advanced movement better than any Exo-Zombies map. While there are still some tight hallways to serve as chokepoints, the map is otherwise completely wide open that allow the player to move as intended.
