96Top Thrill 2 is an upcoming multi-launch roller coaster set to debut at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio for the park's 2024 season. This monumental roller coaster was formerly known as Top Thrill Dragster, built by Intamin Amusement Rides; in 2021, an unfortunate accident took place injuring a park guest and leaving the ride's fate undetermined. It was later revealed that Zamperla would be re-imagining the original experience: replacing the hydraulic launch with LSM technology, introducing a multi-launch, and adding a second 420 foot tall vertical tower. Top Thrill 2 will feature a max height of 420 feet, a drop of 400 feet, top speed of 120 mph and three launches in lap-bar fitted trains; it will be the only strata coaster to feature two separate points above 400 feet.
