We torture test our own product, the GN Anti-Static Modmat, to see if it will work for soldering and heatguns or tube bending. We already know the ESD Mat works well for PC building and modding as a work mat / anti-static surface, but we wanted to know how well it'd hold up to high temperatures. Technically, we didn't build this mat with soldering in mind, but we did know tube bending would be a potential use case.
