And so it ends... After a truly vicious fight, one that surely shook the very foundation of Gensokyo, Yukari is finally defeated, and quickly uses her abilities to repair the great boundary - or so it seems? You can't really depend on her words that much, a youkai as powerful as her never chooses to obey so easily. Well, at least the incident seems to be over at last! Though visits to the world of ghosts as well as ghosts visiting Gensokyo doesn't seem to be that uncommon anymore... But that's a story for another day.

Without further redo... Time for spring to arrive! Trees in full bloom, the warmth of the sun a sweet blessing, calmness awaits - until the events of Touhou 08 that is!

PERSONAL THOUGHTS:

It is kind of a dark theme, isn't it? I thought we were done... But this somber melody instead of the soft representation of peaceful, everyday life? A little strange. Nevertheless it sounds like a fitting conclusion to the tale of never-ending winter. As if the flowers and trees are slowly but surely awakening, shaking off the heavy weight of the snow to embrace the sun. Certainly a pleasant reward! The knowledge that you succeeded once again, saving the world... Another hell of infinite bullets dealt with. I remember beating Touhou 07 after my seventh attempt (give or take). Definitely an improvement over the previous. Still plenty to learn though...
