I went with the extend spamming strategy and I guess it worked out.

This game took me more credits to clear than both HSiFS and WBaWC - the previous two Touhou maingames - did, although I was still able to get it pretty fast and with minimal practice (I just routed the stage portions basically). Too bad I didn't get to show off a few of the routes and went for a silly greedy PoC when I obviously shouldn't have during the Stage 6 red section lol.

The music is sick, I think I prefer it over WBaWC. I prefer the survival play over it as well, at least on first impression; had more fun than I did with WBaWC when that game first came out. Game feel and presentation are quite nice, although unfortunately I feel that the scoring is going to be really uninteresting. Counterstopping seems to be very easy as well... we'll have to wait and see how players optimise the game.

I went with Sanae since I knew she was the ideal pick based on the demo and she is still great. She and Marisa seemed to be the best shots; Sanae is probably the best for blind play, while Marisa pays off with good routes. No Phoenix Tail this run, otherwise I would've had 4 lives remaining lol. That card is really overpowered. Also, I dig the backgrounds in this game.
