Touhou Emblem Chapter 21: Three-eyed Telepath's Visionary (last Chapter before route split)
SPOILER ALERT for those who haven't played Touhou Emblem yet
Finally, the last chapter of the Subterannean Animism arc!
At the start of this chapter, you'll notice two character from two different factions at the start of this chapter. You can only pretty much get help from either one of them, and this will affect the route you're going to after this chapter. THIS DECISION IS IMPORTANT!
If you take Kyouko (the Paladin) with you, you're heading to Buddhist route and can recruit Eiki (Spellsword) in chapter 22, Ichirin (War Monk), Nazrin (Rogue) and Shou (Dragoon) in chapter 23, Nue (Griff Rider) in chapter 24, and Byakuren (Saint) in chapter 25.
If you take Soga (the Sage) with you, you're heading to Taoist route and can recruit Iku (Medic) and Tenshi (Catastrophe) at the end of chapter 22, Seiga (Summoner) and Kasen (Dragon Rider) at chapter 23, Futo (Spellsword) on chapter 24 and Miko (Savior) on chapter 25.
Once you save after completing chapter and after the chapter choice, you can't go back unless you have kept a separate save of chapter 21 (however, you'll still need to redo that tedious chapter!), so beware!!
Anyways.
There are lots of dangerous enemies here. And five bosses (only one is marked as the one for objective, which is Satori - the ritualist with Nosferatu and Runesword).
Parsee is now recruitable with Yuugi (make sure you recruited Yuugi with Suika or Yamame in the previous chapter!).
Additionally, there is Kisume who can be recruited by moving to the space below the pillar in center (near Parsee's starting location), she is the game's Est archetype character... taken to the extremes. She has almost no stats at the start and is level 1 Guard, but in compensation... her growths... ARE ALL OVER 100%?!?! She might be easy to get killed at the start, but if you can figure how to feed her kills, she'll eventually cap all stats at max level!
However, You MUST have at least 10,000 gold to recruit Kisume. Make sure to sell items that you don't need (and especially gems) to hit that 10k gold mark!
There's two rooms that look empty at first but will spawn enemies if you put one unit there. It's recommended to put a physically bulky unit to bait these enemies. The room closer to your starting point has four Dragoons (with Killer Lances!) and a Sniper who drops the one and only Healtlhcare staff (which acts like the whatever S rank legendary staves in Fire Emblem does: full heal all allies and also removes statuses). It has 3 uses, which is actually higher than the original incarnations that usually only have 1 use.
The other room spawns four trackers, One off which will drop the second Body Ring in the game.
Also, a little hindsight. If you can it's good to use both body rings on Sunny, She'll be able to steal 12 weight weapons by then. which is a big mark. She can steal Spears and also Eclipse tome (lol).
Also, no, I can't simply select routes before the end of chapter so I'll have to actually play this chapter twice. I didn't show the second one for Buddhist Route. The run shown here is the one for preparations for Taoist route. The other run was shorter and without the reinforcement enemies showing, so there'll be a bit of difference between the two runs and will be a bit inconsistent, but who cares. Buddhist route is "easier" says Rye, the developer of this romhack himself.
