I've been playing LostWord for a while, though I didn't realize that a MacOS version of this game was available until now. Decided to give it a try in case I felt like uploading proper gameplay or story cutscene videos.

The biggest problem with this version is the game's resolution. The Mac version of LostWord's resolution is a cube with ugly black borders that affects the menus. It can also cut off certain attack animations. I fiddled with the options but AFAIK there is no way to get a widescreen resolution for this.

Another problem is the level of detail on the graphics. It's actually not bad for the animated character sprites, but some stage backgrounds are clearly not meant to be seen at this resolution (it's not as obvious on the stage I decided to pick though).

The positives are that you can play the Rhythm mini-game on a keyboard (you just have to change the control scheme). And again, the animated character sprites look really good.

Don't know if I'll be doing more LostWord content on this channel. The black bars are very distracting. But I am tempted to do videos for character Animas (especially since Seiga and Yoshika are getting Rebirths for Global this year)
