[Touhou LostWord] I am disappointed - please also read the description
To clarify, there are good aspects of this game, especially the upcoming autodeploy and autorematch system which will definitely make other niche friends more useful. Also, this is my personal opinion along with any information I have collected from the player base I met.
Music used: Miyako Japan because it's non-copyright.

I’m disappointed at the very least. It has been 6 months since the day I started this game, and instead of an anticipated anniversary full of hope, or as you called it in the latest dev letter, Happy Happy time, I was greeted with a plethora of disappointment. And it wasn’t only I, it was the general consensus of the player base here; everyone was disappointed at least, and outright decided to cut their support or plainly quit at most thanks to your recent conducts.
First, and maybe the most grievous one, was the change in Event mission reward. LostWord has been known for their generosity, and to compensate for that very fact, the banner schedule is considerably quicker than other games of the same type as a counterbalance. But now, you decided to outright cut off the sealed crystal rewards from event filler stages of Hard and Lunatic mode, together with every single stage in Extra mode. It was a terrible change, and there have been outrages here and there. At first, I thought those were merely an oversight. A big one it was, but still an oversight until today, on the very first day of the half-year anniversary, I realised that those were intentional changes from the very start. And just to fuel the flame, you had not announced those considerable changes on any social media platform, on the last event nor this one. It was the worst move, as now everyone here feels distrust and disgust about Lost Word Global.
Last but not least, you released 3 Ultra Festival banners in quick succession, with certain banners in-between being the baits despite your denial on the matter. Let me get this straight: After Youmu Sword Saint, you released Yorigami Festival and Tsukumo pick-up, with Shion as the highly sought after friend. Right afterwards, you put Utsuho and Minamitsu on separate banners while turning them into pseudo-festivals with the 3 month delay despite the promise of not pulling such a move after the Scarlet Dream Witch fiasco, and those two were considered as S+ tier on your sponsored Gamepress. And to make the matter worse, in the 4th dev letter, you announced Yuyuko Ghost Lord as the anniversary count down banner. Three new S+ tier units into an Ultra Festival and somehow those were not baits. And just to add salt to the injury, you released Marisa Lunar War right after Yuyuko Ghost Lord, right on the first day of your Happy Happy time. This move, I can’t call it a bait anymore. It was the master bait of all time, puns intended; something I can’t believe that I just saw with my own eyes.
On the one hand, you deliberately lower our sealed crystal income, and on the other hand, you pump out Ultra Festival banners non stop. Congratulations, you might earn another fistful of dollars at the cost of everyone’s trust. And trust me, there are players who, thanks to your underhanded policy, have decided to cut their support to you, or just quit and started their journey in the Japanese version.
I cannot deny that the anniversary rewards are handsome at the very least, but when considering the cut we have been facing, it became a net loss. At this time, it is the last straw. Your public relationship with the player base will definitely go down on a spiral unless you reconsider your policy.
As for me, I will still play the game and maybe I will buy the monthly card, but other than that, don’t even think about gaining another single penny from me. Not that I am able to buy your overpriced Heavenly dolls anyhow.
Well, good luck to you all. May your policy carry you through another six month.
This is Akari no Kokoro, signing off.
