Psyche Phase 2

Difficulty: 7/10
Nibi-Sumireko isn't as tough as Yukari and especially not as difficult as Yorihime or Utsuho. But it does put up a good fight. It's gotten rid of summoning enemies in favor of having the highest HP in the game and also some of the strongest attacks. Sure there's your affair of lasers but she also has void hands that can be parried but don't get greedy as they linger so long that you'll take damage or her gravity well. Or her FOUR BOMBS!

Ok so the first one is easy to dodge on paper, a sequence of triangle beams but for the life of me I suck at dodging it.

The second isn't too bad she just flings out random stuff while tracking you but running in a circle is a foolproof strategy... unless she summons the gravity well before hand then you need to dash like your life depends on it.

Her third is some jump rope lasers but also with the addition of shadowy hands coming from below. Pick a corner where the lasers are supposed to overlap and get ready to jump but move if you see shadows form beneat you.

Last is by far the scariest as she calls down a ton of meteors. Thankfully this attack doesn't last too long and she can actually take damage during it but this attack on its own is strong enough to kill you if you take 2 or 3 meteors to the face without a heal ready.

But the fight isn't as hard because she still has a giant hitbox and she's not immune to stunning. Also I do enjoy this boss because phase 1 is kind of a cathartic beat down and phase 2 is a fun final challenge with amazing music.

And with that Touhou new world is beaten BUT! There are two more secret bosses that can be fought after completing the story, and also some boss rush levels which I will not be doing. There is also Marisa's Story which I do intend to cover but that'll be later on my new computer.
