Tourney to the West - Episode 2: IT'S KRILLER TIME!

I'm not sure if I'd call this stream a waste of time. As it turns out, Krillin Mode didn't have any cutscenes. Hell, the "ending" was just Krillin riding the Black Nimbus over the credits... with what I think was Goku flying on his own Kinto'un, deep in the background. On the plus side, it was at least a fun little diversion. Krillin's unique moveset made this feel like a secondary hard mode. Granted, his double-jump made it easier to just ignore combat. But without that high-damage melee combo Goku has, I had to basically rely upon the standard full-charge Kamehameha to wipe out stronger enemies.
Honestly, the hardest part ended up being the later one-on-one fights, specifically the ones against Tenshinhan and the final battle with King Piccolo. Apparently, there's more to the combat system than I realized... but I didn't really have any access to any sort of manual or guide for it. Dari did inform me after I was done that you could perform the "Afterimage" technique that the CPU kept tripping me up with though. But what I really wish I could've figured out were those damn parries.
Apparently, Extra Mode is really only in the game to allow for further unlockables... so I wasn't going to bother playing through it. Supposedly, beating it after finding all seven Dragon Balls unlocks an additional mini-game, but I just don't care. Hell, the two that were unlocked by default were just the ones that appeared in-game. That being said, I don't exactly regret giving this game a second session. But it just seems too tedious to go for 100% with any kind of audience.
So, I think it's finally time to move onto the next bonus game...
