In this video, I tested both Lyra and Shiro with a Claudia/Lin comp (Both A6). After a couple of days testing, it seems like Lyra do have a slightly better edge in term of damage. However, there quite a lot of caveats.

Shiro's DPS depends on whether enemy shield can be broken, can provide a reset on all skill. This allows better uptime on Claudia's buff and Lin's field. Shiro has fantastic burst compared to Lyra, more so that I actually believe with a flawless rotation, Shiro theoretically can out damage Lyra's team, if jump cancel is included.

Lyra on the other hand, excel extremely well in crowd control situation, whereas Shiro hugely fall short of it, 1 bad Full Bloom misplacement (at 4:11) can cost huge dps loss. Not to mention you have to play much safer especially in situation you may die easily.

So is A6 Lyra worth over Shiro? Not exactly in terms of damage, but rather everything else is a huge QoL upgrade. Unless you love to lose sanity while trying to perfect Shiro rotation, Lyra is the pretty much a good upgrade to go for.
