The Turbografx 16 or PC engine as it was known in Japan, was the first 16-BIT game system and it's main purpose was go against Nintendo's 8-BIT NES. It could reproduce big detailed sprites and high speed scrolling. Sadly, the system could not compete against SEGA's Mega Drive/Genesis and Nintendo's Super NES. Blazing Lasers is a great shooter that showed Turbografx 16's the visual capabilities. The game's multiple power-ups and gameplay are fun and it is considered one of the best games on the library of this short lived system. It's a must-play for classic space-shooter fans.
