Trailmakers got me hyped so much that i got insomnia for 4 nights, but it also made me disappointed after i finished campaign. Build vehicles of your imagination, complex or simple, explore, fly in spaces or sail in seas. Campaign is exploration with puzzle solving. You gather materials to unlock new parts and build more complex vehicles to be able to salvage more parts for upgrades. However, in my opinion, after campaign it felt like it lacks more purpose, besides building coolest thing you can come up with.
