In this unboxing / review, we’ll be taking a detailed look at the Transformers Studio Series #88 Deluxe Class Sideways. This is Sideways as we saw him (briefly) in Revenge of the Fallen.

The Decepticon looks good in bot mode, but alt mode suffers from panel lines, mushroom pegs, and the fact that it is not a licensed Audi.

Overall quality is poor. Shoulders, elbows, hips, and ankles are all loose, and they’re ball joints.

I do not believe this figure is worth the cost. I picked it up for $23 at a local Target, but I cannot recommend it. Although shelf presence in bot mode is good, there is too much “bad” to overcome.

My conclusion – SS88 Sideways is a pass unless you’re a hardcore collector or completionist. I really wanted to like this figure but I just can’t make a recommendation for something with such low quality out of the box.

As always, be sure to like, subscribe, and leave a comment to let us know your thoughts. Thanks for watching!!
