Trap and Turn - Flipping Out with this Othello game for Mega Duck
These are strange and unsettling times across the globe as we all go into Lockdown. I'll be trying to upload a video a day if I can just to do my bit to make social distancing slightly more tolerable. Please respect the guidelines and let's all get through this together.
This is Trap and Turn on the Mega Duck (the console was also known as the Cougar Boy mainly in South America hence the packaging). It is a version of Othello, a game ported to just about every system at some point. I'm never any good at it, although I understand it is all about controlling the corners and the outer pieces, no matter which system I play it on :-) This sort of game is well suited to the system as there is no fast scrolling making the graphics very clear.
The Mega Duck was a console aimed at taking on the might GameBoy. I have a number of games for it and I am showcasing these on my channel. I'm always on the look out for more though so if you have some let me know.
It is hard to film the screen and get a decent picture and even harder to do so while trying to play through the viewfinder of the camera. Hopefully this gives you a flavour of the game though.
As always if you enjoy this video let me know. As always this is running on original hardware. Also let me know if there are particular games or systems you'd like to see.
As always this is uploaded under the Fair Use Policy - no money is being made from this video.
