Travel Vlog 11 - Salesforce Transit Park
6It's finally time to explore the "hidden" structures and locations of SF. And for the first location, I thought of doing something "transit-oriented" only because I do like me some public transport.
But it's not really transportation itself, but a secret park that's right above it.
Yes, this is Salesforce Transit Center / Park. And man, it's pretty, and quiet since not a lot (aside from workers probably) have yet to explore this park.
For those who wants to know how to get here:
1. Take BART or Muni Metro to Montgomery or Embarcadero.
a.From Montgomery: Take the Sutter St Exit
b.From Embarcadero: Take the 1st Street Exit.
Alternatively, get off Market and First St. on the F/9/9R muni routes.
2. Position yourself southeast-wards to the numbered street section (Fremont, 1st, 2nd, New Montgomery) and head SE towards Mission Street.
3. Walk about 1.5 blocks till you see the structure. There are entrances at 1st St (middle of the video) and Fremont St (end of video).
4. Head up via escalators or stairs with signs heading towards the rooftop park.
Alternatively, get off at 1st street from the 14/14R, at Salesforce Transit Ctr on 5/5R/7/25/38/38R, or any bus heading towards Salesforce Transit Ctr through other Bay Area bus transit.
