The engine that led us into Miami Airport Station. This F40PH was originally built in 1981 as Amtrak 379, and was sold to Tri-Rail in 1997, and initially ran until 2015, but then returned in 2021 in the Rebuilt Form as an F40PH-3C it currently is in. Its most significant note is how, back in 2002-2003, it was leased, alongside coaches 1008 and 1009, and Cab Car 504, to GO Transit in Toronto, where they ran a unique set around there for a while, and for it, was stenciled with the TRCX Reporting Mark, which of course all the Tri-Rail F40s now have ever since they returned from Rebuild. As for its present sound, it has a pretty typical P5, but before wanting to give it too much praise, I have to remember exactly what absolutely amazing K5LA it used to have back long ago when it was Unrebuilt, which was one of, if not, the best K5LA on any Tri-Rail Locomotive. This unit is also distinct for being one of two F40PHs so far to have the newer Type 011 GW E-Bell, alongside 807.

I also take a quick look at Coach right behind it, which happens to be none other than the aforementioned 1009, which is of course the same coach that went out of service for nearly 7 years from January 2016 until December 2022, and as mentioned, went with 811 on the famed GO Transit Lease. 1009 is also one of only two UTDC Coaches to still sport the original interior colors, the other being 1015.

Ironically, 1009 and 811 were together on the same set back when I saw them last year, and they still were right in time for me to see them here. This set would be disbanded in only a matter of days after I took this video. 811 is now out of service as far as I know, while Cab Car 508, which was at the other end of this train, is now on a new set.

Same issue again caused this video to be only 30 FPS rather than the desired 60.
