Isometrisches Rollenspiel mit actionlastigen Kampf-und Bewegungssystem, 1995 von Merit Studios entwickelt und vertrieben. Trial by Magic spielt sich mit seinem direkten Kampfsystem und der Sprungmöglichkeit des Protagonisten recht arcadelastig und erinnert daher an den Bitmap Brothers Klassiker Cadaver. Die Maussteuerung ist etwas hakelig, aber beherrschbar, ansonsten bietet es recht einfache und nicht zu komplizierte Rollenspielkost.

Isometric RPG with action-heavy combat and movement system, developed in 1995 by Merit Studios and distributed. Trial by Magic plays quite arcade-heavy with its direct combat system and the jumping ability of the protagonist and therefore reminiscent of the classic Bitmap Brothers Cadaver. The mouse control is a bit notchy, but manageable, otherwise it offers fairly simple and not too complicated RPG fare.
