Trivia related to route maps, inside branded "Emerald" buses for the Reading Buses fleet.
I recorded this video to express my gratitude for the detail within this route map. I wanted to go to the Morrisons along Basingstoke Road (B3031), but I didn't know which stop to alight the bus at. I specifically chose to go upstairs to make sure that I could see it.
However, Reading Buses are seemingly aware of how useful that supermarket is, and they mark this beneath the appropriate stop name on their route maps inside these branded Emerald buses. You can find these maps on, both, the lower-deck and upper-deck of the buses for Emerald routes 5, 6 and 6a - the 5 is shown on one side of the bus, and the 6s on the other side. I think this is a useful feature.
