This game is freaking awesome. I am not a big twin stick shooter fan, but I am super glad that I gave it a chance. It certainly takes it's inspiration from The Legend of Zelda, but it does its own thing also and what it does is crazy cool. The aesthetics look nice and the pixel art is solid. The music is sweet and fits well. The guns though the guns are great and I certainly had my favorites. I really enjoyed the assault rifles. The other guns were fine, but spray and pray for the win. The cool thing is that the guns are upgradable. You can increase damage, reload time, capacity and rate of fire. And it can turn mediocre into awesome. The starting hand gun is super useful once you max out reload speed and you don't have to switch weapons to reload. Every other weapon requires a swap to reload. The nice thing is that ammo is infinite. There's also health upgrades as well strewn through the environment. The story is freaking silly and the final boss and area are an absolute trip. It really comes out of nowhere. I genuinely loved this game. Enjoy my blind playthrough.
