Trine 3 - The Artifacts of Power | The Three Heroes - Pontius
10Lately, I’ve been thinking about this game again and I realized it might be nice to include it here on the channel. I'm honestly not sure how it will be received, but I still love this game. During a few practice rounds, I was surprised by just how good it still feels to play (maybe it's just nostalgia, who knows ;)).
This is the story of Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power, a game both loved and hated by gamers. It enchanted many with its beautiful world and creative mechanics, but it also left some disappointed due to its abrupt and unfinished ending.
In this video, I play through the first level as Pontius the Brave, collecting all Trineangles (yep, that's their real name!) and soaking in the fairy-tale charm this series is known for.
Unlike the previous Trine titles, this one ventures into semi-3D gameplay, a bold shift that added depth and exploration, even if it came at the cost of a fully finished story. Still, what's here is magical, and there's a lot of joy in revisiting it.
