The various bosses to Trinity Fusion beaten without taking damage and the ending. When the universe gets broken into the multiverse and things will get broken further unless you duct tape the universes back together it's up to Maya/Altara/Kera/Naira as their respective universe selves to rough up bosses and setup the duct tape machine in each universe.

I meant to get to this one much, much sooner as its full release occurred last month but unfortunately old friends reintroduced me to World of Warcraft and I got addicted for a good while. This is otherwise a roguelike with permanent upgrades to unlock features like boss shops or dismantling items for cash or to buy upgrades to equip for yourself (which you can further upgrade the amount of upgrades you can equipment). Each character you play as - Altara, Kera, and Naira - have different secondary attacks with Kera using heavy melee weapons, Altara having various special powers (i.e. flame pillars or lightning balls), and Naira uses guns. For each run through the Underworld, Overworld, and Hyperworld you can pay to fuse with one other character to gain access to their abilities. A successful run is one of these three universes with the pattern of two levels, boss, one level, another boss (with the exception of Hyperworld which is three levels and a boss).

Overall, it's pretty fun and I believe there's plans for more updates (I don't play a large number of roguelikes though so I may not be the best judge of this genre). Each run has you find amplifiers to your abilities (and collecting three of the same type gives a power-up) and improved weapons. A number of amplifiers are pretty meh, as I largely stuck to damage boosting ones (such as Glass Cannon that doubles damage dealt and taken). As well, once you get enough currency to get the upgrade Barrier (and max it out) you can take three hits before your shield drops and it refreshes after killing 20 enemies or starting a new level which makes staying alive very easy (conversely, you don't have much in terms of iframes so before you reach this point it's easy to take lots of damage if you mess up).

I also learned pretty late that quitting to menu lets you completely restart the level you were on instead of ending your run, so by the time I had the barrier upgrade I used this to practice bosses as a run was usually ~30 minutes. There is a boss rush but you have basic gear there and I prefer to play through the entire game to get a feel for things. I'm also not sure if a better ending exists - there is an optional area called the In-Between that an NPC wanted me to meet them there (and forced a meeting before the Ewer boss when I ignored them) that suggested going back to the Citadel to fix the problem before continuing on with things but I didn't want to give up my run. As well, bringing Claw to the Citadel is an optional event so not sure if it still shows up in the ending if you ignore it.

Lastly, if you're curious how I quickly killed the tendrils on the Extant Decay and Amalgamation bosses I had unlocked a power-up that gave a 20% chance to instantly kill non-boss critters every time you crit.

3:12 Typhon Two
4:39 Steward One
5:59 Ewer Eminence
8:06 Amalgamation
10:45 Ending (The music has a copyright claim so I tried muting it)
