Tropical Rainstorm IDA Chase - Flooding & Timelapse videos
0From Seward to Pittsburgh, I drove through Tropical Rainstorm IDA, my first stop was the Conemaugh river after the Wilmore event. Next was in Crabtree Pennsylvania where i noticed vehicles trying to cross a flooded road. I felt it was my civic duty to direct traffic away from that bridge until Emergency crews from Crabtree VFD arrived to shut the road down. Then I begrudgingly headed towards Greensburg and caught a glimpse of the Lynch field catch basin. For the record, I hate Greensburg... Fun fact though, Most don't know that Lynch field was designed to flood. The area was made to be an overflow for Jacks Run in Greensburg. However One utility vehicle was spotted abandoned in the floodwaters probably someone forgot to move it?? Then finished my drive to Pittsburgh for Work.
