I wanna see how to use /return today, so we'll be experimenting with using it stop command blocks early (to save runtime) as well as using it to return simplified data. We'll use two projects as test fields: the Hologram datapack and Pokemobs.

Extra Stuff:
- 😅Now I have to fix the Hologram display entities like the CBS ones from last episode. I wish I hadn't tracked them all with names...😄
- Didn't talk about it too much, but you always want the TPS to be under 50 ms per tick because ticks are supposed to run at 20 ticks per second and therefore 1000 ms / 20 = 50. Anything under 50 is good and the more headroom you have the more derping around won't lag you out.
- Fun fact for optimization: use F3 + L to run a 10 second debug tracker. Then you can open up the folder it creates and see what is causing the most lag (or in my case which commands). That's how I reduced the ms per tick so much. Turns out I was running a clear light_gray_banner command all the time (it's from the chest selector project) and it was using large amounts of resources despite doing absolutely nothing most of the time. 🤣


Command Block Survival is a gamemode where every command has a self-imposed price. It allows crafting of certain creative mode items (the recipe is part of the price) and adds an entirely new dimension of creativity!
