I Try Making A Custom Dimension - Talon's Oasis - Ep 122
25I want to make a space dimension today! So we're gonna tussle with the dimension files and biome files in an effort to make something that hopefully resembles space.

To set it to the correct version, click on the "main" dropdown and select the tags tab. Search for the Minecraft version you want and select the summary branch of it. Then go to the "Code" dropdown and select Download to Zip.
Extra Stuff:
- If you're wondering how I got the phantoms to only spawn about one at a time, it was through the spawn_costs section. Basically I turned the energy_budget all the way down to 0.02 while leaving the other one as it was and this turned out to be the solution.
- If you're wondering why I couldn't get the floating end islands to work, I tried changing the multi_noise setting to the_end to get the floating islands and it actually created and end island in the center of the dimension and overwrote the other biomes.
- I didn't mention this too much, but an interesting effect of giving all entities NoGravity means that ground-based mobs can't pathfind since they always think they're in the air. I'm hoping the new gravity attribute that came out in a snapshot recently will fix this pathfinding problem!
Command Block Survival is a gamemode where every command has a self-imposed price. It allows crafting of certain creative mode items (the recipe is part of the price) and adds an entirely new dimension of creativity!
