Turn ON iCloud Music Library on iPhone
To turn on iCloud Music Library—now known as Sync Library—on your iPhone, you’ll need to be signed into your Apple ID and have an active subscription to Apple Music or iTunes Match. This feature ensures that all your music, including your personal uploads and Apple Music tracks, is available across all your Apple devices that are signed in with the same Apple ID.
Start by opening the Settings app on your iPhone. Scroll down and locate the Music option, then tap on it to access the Music settings menu. Within this section, you should see the toggle for "Sync Library." If you don't see this option, make sure that you're signed in with the Apple ID used for your Apple Music subscription. You can verify your Apple ID by going back to the top of the Settings app and tapping on your name to access iCloud and Apple ID information.
If you haven’t subscribed to Apple Music or iTunes Match, you won’t see the Sync Library toggle. In this case, you'll need to subscribe to Apple Music first through the Music app or the App Store.
Once you locate the "Sync Library" option, simply toggle it on. This will enable iCloud Music Library for your iPhone, allowing your entire music collection—including playlists, albums, and downloaded tracks—to stay updated and accessible on other Apple devices. Depending on your library size and network connection, the syncing process may take some time.
Enabling this setting also lets you stream or download any of your songs on demand, as long as you're connected to Wi-Fi or have allowed mobile data for music streaming.
