Add Your Bank Account to Uber Eats Delivery Driver App
If you're an Uber Eats delivery driver and need to add or update your bank account information, the process can be done directly through the Uber Driver app. Keeping your payment method updated ensures you receive your earnings on time without delays. Whether you're setting up for the first time or switching to a new bank, the steps are simple and secure.
Start by opening the Uber Driver app on your smartphone. If you haven’t already logged in, you’ll need to enter your Uber account credentials or use biometric login if it’s enabled. After successful login, access the main menu by tapping the three-line icon in the top-left corner of the screen.
From the menu, scroll down and select 'Wallet.' In the Wallet section, tap on 'Payment Methods.' This is where you’ll find your current payout preferences. If you already have a bank account linked and want to change it, tap the 'Edit' button next to the existing account. If you're adding a new bank account for the first time, tap 'Link Bank Account.'
After tapping 'Link Bank Account,' tap 'Next' to proceed. Uber will prompt you to verify your identity as a security measure. Follow the prompts and enter the required details, including the account holder’s full name, routing number, account number, and sometimes the billing address linked to your bank. Double-check your information to avoid payment issues.
Once submitted, Uber may take a short time to verify the account. In some cases, a small test deposit is sent to confirm the account is active and owned by you. Once verified, your new bank account will be set as the primary payout method.
