Turn Up For The Books - The First Week Of The Game! | Tiny Bookshop (Cozy Bookshop Game)
239Tiny Bookshop returns to the channel but this time it's the full game! We play through the first week of the game, something which we couldn't do in the demo, which means we get to go to a whole new location.
As in the demo our first priority is to decorate our bookshop, because that's clearly very important! In go the fabulous Geek Cupboard corporate colours, then we add some items, and then we think about books.
Soon enough our bookshop is bustling, with many visitors popping in to browse our fine selection. We meet some local characters, like Tilde the former bookshop owner, and Fern the journalist. We stock up on books, we buy a plant, we pet a dog, it's all quite wonderful.
As in the demo we also have to help people with book recommendations, which sometimes is quite easy and other times is indeed a challenge due to some very specific needs!
We also manage to make it through a full week, which means we get to attend the flea market! We seem to have centre-stage there and we chat to people about their wares. Excitingly we pick up a typewriter which allows us to begin work on our very own book!
All in all, Tiny Bookshop is a wonderful, gorgeous, charming game with the simple idea of selling books at it's heart, but there's a whole world of characters to meet and locations to explore, each of which seems to tell their own story.
