Tutorial: HOW TO level up with Tailoring in Dragonflight for 2 free levels!
9This is a little something I discovered while leveling my ALTS that I thought would be useful to others, perhaps it may be a little too late for some of your ALTS, but you might still have some 60's that you were kicking around as well. While leveling my alts, I noticed that if I immediately started leveling up my profession, every time I crafted a "new item", I would get a TON of experience like it was from a quest, it was here that the light bulb came on. Now, you can use this method with any of the professions, I chose Tailoring because CLOTH is literally the cheapest of all materials you can buy on the auction house. I would say Enchanting & Leatherworking would be the next cheapest in cost, while Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Inscription being the higher priced ones. Engineering & Jewelcrafting I would say are mid-tier as far as price of materials required. Obviously the gathering professions would help some too, but there are not nearly as many "First Craft"s for them.
TL;DR: Everytime you craft a new item, you get a ton of experience! It has diminishing returns as you get closer to level 62, but following this guide should get you to 62 within an hour, and if you just do the campaign quests, you should hit 70 without much extra side quests.
