Two Useless Easter Eggs in Super Mario RPG (SNES) - Retrogaming Easter Eggs
3,562I just found out about two useless but kinda neat easter eggs in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars for the SNES.
If you press the X button to open up your menu, you can then hold the L and R buttons and use the D-Pad to control which way the background will scroll. Useless, but kinda neat!
Also, if you attempt to save your data over over a previously existing file that WASN'T the last file you saved in, the game will warn you with a prompt saying "Not your last save. Save here anyway?"
If you repeatedly bring up this prompt and say NO more then ten times, then finally do it again and say YES, Mario will make a pose like he's either angry with you or disappointed. USELESS BUT KINDA NEAT!
