Like a lot of us, I often get an itch to create a new game, but rarely want to spend the effort actually making that game a reality. During the 2020 lockdown that itch struck again, so I reached for the tool closest at hand: Google Sheets. Here are some of the tricks I've learned over the last two years of making games in Google Sheets, and how you can use it to prototype all sorts of roguelike experiences.
