Elements from across the British Armed Forces are working with the Joint Task Force in Cyprus to prepare for various contingencies to ensure the safety of UK citizens in Lebanon.

Members of the task force are working with the UK Government to provide options if UK citizens have to be evacuated from the country, using elements from the Royal Navy, Royal Marines Commandos, the British Army and the Royal Air Force.

Brigadier Paul Maynard, Joint Task Force Commander, spoke to BFBS Forces News.
