Most unused maps that have "Covetous" in the name are mostly barren, this at least had content.
Maybe the big mirror room was the originally intended lair of the witch?
It's funny that this column has the glyph of compassion.

Also, the underground areas of the final game usually have black background (especially the caves, but not the skull helmet room), while many of the unused dungeon/cave maps have this overworld sky background. Normally it shouldn't matter with good camera handling and right clipping.
