It's a momentous day! The Avatar and his companions make their way through Skullcrusher Mountain, across the frozen tundra to Spinebreaker Mountain, and all the way through the ancient city of order to finally confront Batlin!
And then Batlin gets everything he wished for and more.
At long last, I know the answer to the question of how this plot that seemed crafted to naturally climax with this confrontation in the frozen north will actually extend itself through a full second act! It's a pretty compelling twist that leaves me wanting to know what's next!
I won't find out right away, though: I'm calling this the end of "Season One" and taking a little break, so that I can approach the next leg of the journey with a little more patience and make sure I enjoy the ride. After all, once I get through this game, there's nothing left for me but Pagan and Ascension, so I should make sure I'm appreciating this while it lasts, right?
